About the Author

Born on the 13th of October in 1991 and soon thereafter living through the first few years of life in Warrandyte, Victoria, this young author resided in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne until his 21st birthday at which point he moved in with his parents Johan and Cherelle at a quiet house on the Mornington Peninsula, which rapidly became his favourite place in the world.

Growing up in Melbourne, Jesse studied at Eastwood Primary School and later at Whitefriars College, where he specialized in studio arts, music and drama classes. A small affinity with writing developed and though a keen interest in poetry was developing on the side of studying, the strongest thing that was flourishing in the young man's abilities was a skill with storytelling during English classes where real life experiences became fictional tales in written language during class. "My teachers were always super impressed," he said, "They were really proud of me for polishing up something recreational during classes."

He became a carpenter after quitting his first job at the local pool, but soon suffered catastrophe at the age of 19. A car accident nearly ruined his life and soon he was left with post traumatic stress disorder, a great sense of loss and then he was later diagnosed with schizophrenia. Jesse manages really well but moving through simple, hebephrenic and chronic types of mental illness, each psychotic episode dragged him down and he commonly struggles.

In his adult years he studied psychology at university and also information technology at TAFE, although a repertoire of other certificates were achieved along the way. With an eye for changing the world, he also developed tentative interest in reiki, meditation and mindfulness which were a passion, not just a pursuit.

The project syllabus: The Carmel 12

With sincere consideration for those who have suffered mental illness and those families involved in someone's psychiatric treatment or thereafter their recovery, no matter how drastic that may be, the utmost attention has been paid to thinking creatively within the realms of someone's level of understanding and only through such a long and heartbreaking experience in and out of hospital wings could a focus on improving awareness have been achieved. The outcome that meant the most in the work surrounding it was the destiny of those human beings who are facing mental illness especially considering those who have grown to old age with their suffering burdening them, and more so to the point the hospitals themselves were an accrued interest in the scheme of modernisation that might have been gained.

In some ways the indifferent language and the scope of the research based on mind involved in the triple book project The Carmel 12 led to freakish or pseudoscientific platforms in light of reality however such great distaste overruled decisions that were made to keep those involved from accessing the freedom to pursue the interest in claiming the end of the story.

“Losing dad was the hardest part of becoming a writer, although the most painful thing I have experienced was the trauma that meant he was not going to make it. I essentially tried to overdo some of the lossless aspects of the project being that there were lots of jokes and nasty components that mixed together into quite an elegant overall story. The hard part was summing up the end of someone's life and realizing there was meaning or purpose in my writing which was to look into the light and find only something which hurt my eyes.”

The best thing and the worst thing all involved the watermelon theory - not so well spiced, but everywhere it included itself, wet, watery seeds that were planted in the earth back when dinosaurs ruled the earth. In each and every way the future consequences of the current time's dilemmas were roped into a greater incentive, such as preservation or rejuvenation - protection.

Thank you!

... to all those involved with this triple book project including my publisher and Maria, who thoughtfully considered the initial model to be worthwhile.

For a humble attitude and sacrifice, to all family and friends there is 110% appreciation for partaking in this.

With the help of the connection that was shared throughout 2020 - 2025 the tale survived it all.
